The Federal Gazette & Baltimore Daily Advertiser began publication January 1, 1796 [v. 4, no. 673] and ceased June 30, 1825 [v. 63, no. 9712]. It was published daily, except Sunday. It was also published as the Federal Gazette and Baltimore Daily Advertiser. Other editions include the Federal Gazette, and Baltimore Daily Advertiser (Baltimore: triweekly) and the Federal Gazette (Baltimore: triweekly). It has occasional supplements. The newspaper continues the Federal Intelligencer, and Baltimore Daily Gazette (Baltimore: 1794) and was continued by the Baltimore Gazette and Daily Advertiser (Baltimore: 1825). Archives' collection includes issues for March 16-December 13, 1796, March 9, 1799 [v. 10, no. 1661] (MSA SC 453-189), and April 16, 1823 (MSA SC 1925-1-15).
